Am I The Bully: How To Tell If You Are The Problem.
Wednesday Jan 22, 2025
Wednesday Jan 22, 2025
This season we are focusing on bullying and today we want to dive into a difficult topic, but one that is healthy to think about. How can you tell if you are the bully or if you are engaging in poor behaviours?
Bullying at work is often obvious when it’s happening to us, but it’s not always easy to recognize when we might be the ones causing harm. And here’s the thing, most people don’t think they’re the bully!
Poor behaviour is often a result of cultures, that tolerate it. If you think your behavior is a result of the environment you’re in, advocate for change. Push for a culture of respect and accountability. Sometimes the best way to stop being a bully is to make sure the whole workplace moves away from toxic norms.
Remember, none of us are perfect. The goal isn’t to feel ashamed if you realize you’ve made mistakes. It’s to learn from them and do better moving forward.
In today's episode we will dive into all aspects of what is deemed as poor behaviour within the workplace and how that can have a direct impact on your colleagues.
